China’s Shaanxi Yulin Energy Group is exploring opportunities to cooperate with Turkmenistan in renewable energy, Chairman Gao Xijun said at the Turkmen-Chinese business forum held Wednesday in Ashgabat, Trend reported.
The proposal came as part of broader discussions on expanding industrial cooperation between the two countries, with a focus on introducing advanced technological solutions in the energy sector.
Gao said the initiative includes developing renewable energy infrastructure, which would help diversify Turkmenistan’s energy mix and strengthen long-term technological cooperation.
Shaanxi Yulin Energy Group has also proposed establishing magnesium alloy production in Turkmenistan.
