President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent congratulations and best wishes to President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping on the occasion of his birthday, Turkmenistan’s state media reported on Monday.
In his congratulatory message, the head of state noted that under Xi Jinping’s leadership, the People’s Republic of China has achieved impressive success in socio-economic development, strengthened its international standing and improved the well-being of its people.
The Turkmen president stressed that Turkmenistan highly values its friendly relations with China and attaches great importance to the further development of bilateral strategic and comprehensive cooperation. Serdar Berdimuhamedov also expressed confidence in the continued strengthening of Turkmen-Chinese interstate ties and strategic partnership for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.
Xi Jinping turned 73 on June 15. On the occasion of the Chinese leader’s birthday, National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also sent congratulations. In his congratulatory message, he highlighted Xi’s personal contribution to strengthening friendship and strategic partnership between Turkmenistan and China.
