Aýdyň Gijeler company has laid the foundation for two new enterprises in the Kingdom of Eswatini. Company representatives,along with, Eswatini Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade Manqoba Khumalo, Principal Secretary of the ministry Melusi Masuku and Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Science and Technology Park Madoda Mdziniso attended the ceremony, Aýdyň Gijeler reported on Tuesday.

One of the new companies, Aýdyň Gijeler Eswatini, to produce and supply national identity cards and biometric passports for Eswatini citizens. The second facility, Eswatini Quantum Works, will manufacture infrastructure and electrical engineering products, including power cables, lighting poles, traffic lights, road signs, safety barriers and electronic equipment.

The partnership began after Eswatini Prime Minister Russell Dlamini’s government delegation, led by Foreign Minister Pholile Dlamini-Shakantu visited Aýdyň Gijeler’s production facilities during an official trip to Turkmenistan in December 2025. In January and April 2026, a company delegation conducted several working visits to Eswatini to assess market needs and provide product samples for testing.

In May, King Mswati III received a delegation headed by Aýdyň Gijeler Chief Executive Officer Hydyrberdi Abdurahmanov in Abu Dhabi. During the meeting, the sides discussed a project to produce 1.5 million national identity cards and more than 500,000 biometric passports for Eswatini citizens.They also agreed to establish joint ventures and allocate a four-hectare land plot for the production site.
