In Ashgabat, officials from Turkmenistan’s energy sector held meetings with representatives of leading foreign engineering, consulting, and service companies. The discussions focused on expanding international cooperation in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries and attracting investment, according to Turkmen state media on Saturday.
The meetings brought together members of the Turkmen government and executives from the country’s major state energy and chemical enterprises, including representatives of the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR). Delegations from Southeast Asian countries and leading global energy companies also took part in the talks.
The participants reviewed the progress of ongoing joint projects and discussed opportunities to introduce advanced technologies for hydrocarbon production and processing.
Special attention to the modernization of the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries and the further development of Turkmenistan’s gas-chemical infrastructure was given.
At the conclusion of the meetings, the parties reaffirmed their interest in expanding mutually beneficial cooperation and strengthening long-term partnerships.
