Turkmen designer Govher Pirkuliyeva’s brand Gowher Gouvernet took part in the international fashion event Tanger Fashion Week 2026 in the Moroccan city of Tangier, presented its clothing collection, according to the event’s social media page.
Tanger Fashion Week 2026 was held on June 20 at the Fairmont Tazi Palace and brought together designers, fashion industry representatives, members of the press and buyers from different countries. According to the organizers, the fashion week aims to establish Tanger as one of the leading centers of fashion, creativity and creative industries in the Mediterranean region.

In her collections, the designer organically combines traditional Turkmen ornaments, decorations and weaving traditions with modern fashion trends. Her works preserve elements of national heritage while also meeting the requirements of the international fashion market. In recent years, her collections have been presented at a number of fashion events in Europe and the Middle East.
These include Haute Couture Week in Paris, Oriental Fashion Show in Azerbaijan, cultural events at UNESCO headquarters in Paris, as well as Maroc Fashion Week in Morocco.
At last year’s Tanger Fashion Week 2025, designers from Morocco, Kazakhstan, Tunisia, Palestine, and Italy presented their collections, including Mina Binebine, Zoubida Sbai, Salma Atiar, Sabina Volskaya, Regalia by Hind Berrada and Amina Benzekri. Honorary guests of the event included well-known fashion houses and brands such as Vivienne Westwood, Chopard and Caroline’s Couture.
