A Turkmen delegation led by Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan Mergen Gurdov held a series of talks with senior representatives of leading Turkish business organizations during a working visit to Istanbul on June 26–27, according to Turkmen state media.
On June 27, talks were held at the headquarters of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye with the organization's first vice president, Ali Kopuz, who also heads the Istanbul Commodity Exchange. The Turkmen side also met the same day with Adem Kula, secretary-general of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkic States.

The meetings focused on prospects for expanding multilateral economic cooperation among Turkic states, strengthening ties between the two countries' trade and industrial institutions, and creating favorable conditions for increasing bilateral trade. The sides also emphasized the importance of developing trade, industrial cooperation and sustainable production and logistics chains.
At the conclusion of the talks, both sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in the continued development of the Turkmen-Turkish economic partnership and in implementing new joint investment and production projects.
