Geosonic has secured an expanded contract in Turkmenistan to inspect more than 200 kilometers of pipeline infrastructure, citing the company Offshore Energy reported.

The project includes the deployment of remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), geophysical surveys, cathodic protection inspections and the collection of subsea data to assess the condition and integrity of offshore infrastructure.

The company noted, this is Geosonic's second project in Turkmenistan. According to the company, the expanded scope of work reflects its growing presence in the Caspian region and strengthens its position in the field of subsea survey and inspection services.

Based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, Geosonic specializes in subsea surveys and data positioning for the offshore industry, including inspections, geophysical surveys, and subsea infrastructure monitoring.
