Cotton fiber worth 44.955 million manats was sold during trading at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) on Monday, the exchange reported.
Turkmen entrepreneurs purchased cotton fiber 2025 harvest from the Turkmenpagta State Concern for export.
During the previous week, transactions on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan totaled $3.297 million and 128.216 million manats.
Established in 1994, SCRMET is the main body regulating export and import operations in Turkmenistan.
