Turkmen State Publishing Service to Sign Contract With Heidelberg

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on Saturday signed a decree at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting authorizing the Turkmen State Publishing Service to conclude a contract with Germany's Heidelberger Druckmaschinen Eastern Europe GmbH for the purchase of equipment, Turkmen state media reported.

According to the decree, the contract provides for the procurement of equipment to strengthen the material and technical base of the Turkmen State Publishing Service and support the modern production operations of its enterprises.

Deputy Chairwoman of the Cabinet of Ministers Bahar Seyidova reported on measures to improve the operations of the Turkmen State Publishing Service. According to the report, efforts are underway to further strengthen the service's material and technical base, ensure its uninterrupted operation and enable its facilities to operate at full capacity. The report also noted that cooperation has been established with leading foreign companies to improve the efficiency of these efforts.

After hearing the report, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov said the Turkmen State Publishing Service continues to improve its operations. He signed the corresponding decree on strengthening the publishing system's material and technical base and instructed the deputy prime minister to carry out the necessary work in this direction.
