The Turkmenistan Investment Forum (TIF 2026) will take place on Octobe 1-2 at the Yyldyz Hotel in Ashgabat, bringing together government officials, international financial institutions and business leaders to discuss investment opportunities and projects across key sectors of the economy, organizer Turkmen Congress reported.
The forum is organized by Turkmenistan's Ministry of Finance and Economy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the support of Turkmen Congress. Organizers said representatives of international financial institutions, including the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and UK Export Finance, have been invited to participate.
The business program will focus on investment opportunities in energy and petrochemicals, transport corridors, including the Caspian region and the Middle Corridor, the digital economy and virtual assets, green development, agribusiness, tourism and urban infrastructure, as well as water resource management. A separate panel will examine the application of artificial intelligence in the economy and its impact on investment.
The forum will also feature meetings with government officials, a practical workshop on the legal and financial aspects of investment projects, and networking events with international financial institutions and business representatives.
