Serdar Berdimuhamedov Congratulates Pashinyan on Election as Armenian Prime Minister

Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated Nikol Pashinyan on his re-election as Prime Minister of Armenia, Turkmen state media reported on Wednesday.

“We highly value Turkmenistan’s relations with the Republic of Armenia, based on the principles of equality, mutual respect and trust. I am confident that they will continue to develop and deepen in the spirit of mutually beneficial cooperation and in the interests of our peoples” – the Head of the state noted in his message.

The Turkmen president wished Pashinyan good health and success in his state duties for the peace, well-being and prosperity of the Armenian people.

Pashinyan was re-elected Prime Minister following Armenia’s parliamentary elections. Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan signed a decree on his appointment August 2, according to Armenpress.
