The President of Turkmenistan signed a resolution authorizing the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations to begin the construction and installation of Turkmenistan’s national pavilion for participation in the World Specialized Exhibition EXPO-2027 in Belgrade, Turkmen state media reported on Sunday.
Under the resolution, the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations has been authorized to carry out the construction and installation of the national pavilion, as well as other related work for Turkmenistan’s participation in the specialized EXPO 2027, which will be held in Belgrade, Serbia.
EXPO 2027 Belgrade will take place from May 15 to August 15, 2027, and will be the first specialized EXPO in the Western Balkan region. According to the exhibition’s official website, more than 130 countries are expected to participate, with more than 4 million visitors projected. The exhibition will cover an area of 25 hectares.
The theme of the exhibition is “Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All.” Over 93 days, participating countries will present their national pavilions, while the program will feature cultural and sporting events, concerts, business meetings, seminars and other international events.
