Urea worth $44.59 million was sold Wednesday at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, the exchange reported.
Entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan and Türkiye concluded eight transactions to purchase Grade B urea produced by the State concern Turkmenhimiya.
Turkmen entrepreneurs also purchased cotton yarn worth 4.633 million manats for the domestic market.
Established in 1994, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange is Turkmenistan’s main body regulating export and import transactions.
