The total volume of cashless transactions using bank cards in Turkmenistan exceeded 14 billion 30 million 940 thousand manats in January–July 2026, according to the electronic journal Bank habarlary published by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.
Payments made via terminals during the period totaled 11 billion 202 million 880 thousand manats.
According to the Central Bank, payments conducted through the e-commerce system exceeded 2 billion 185 million 725 thousand manats in January–July, while transactions via the mobile banking system surpassed 64 million 781 thousand manats.
The total volume of cashless payments carried out through ATMs exceeded 384 million 251 thousand manats, while transactions via the internet banking system amounted to more than 6 million 11 thousand manats.
More than 187 million 289 thousand manats in cashless payments were processed through the Halkbank terminal system, according to the report.
