Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, met with Ahmet Çalık, Chairman of the board of directors of Çalık Holding, during his visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Turkmen state media reported Sunday.
Ahmet Çalık expressed his sincere gratitude for finding time to meet with him and for the invitation to the world championship among Akhal-Teke horses. He also said he was impressed by the high level of organization of ceremonies dedicated to Akhal-Teke horses presented to the world heritage in Turkmenistan, as well as events held in Europe.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov thanked him for his kind words and expressed confidence that the first world championship among Akhal-Teke horses would serve as a reliable bridge for bringing countries and peoples closer together.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people noted that Turkmenistan’s foreign economic relations are based on the principles of equality, mutual benefit and mutual understanding with partner countries and leading companies of the world. It was also emphasized that friendly and historical relations between Turkmenistan and the Türkiye are being successfully developed in several areas.
Ahmet Çalık expressed gratitude for the opportunities being created to conduct business in Turkmenistan and said that the company he leads would continue to approach the fulfillment of its contractual obligations responsibly.
