More than 400 participants have applied to attend the 31st International Conference and Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan — 2026” (OGT 2026), which will be held in Ashgabat on Oct. 21-23, according to the organizers.
More than 300 foreign delegates from about 40 countries are among those registered. According to organizers, registration this year is ahead of the figures recorded during the same period in previous years. More than 100 companies will participate in OGT for the first time, reflecting growing international business interest in Turkmenistan’s energy market.
The OGT Expo 2026 exhibition has also drawn strong interest, with all exhibition space already allocated.
According to the organizers, Malaysia’s national pavilion will bring together more than 20 companies, many of which will present their capabilities to the Turkmen market for the first time. Chinese companies are also expected to participate widely, amid the continued development of Turkmenistan-China strategic partnership in the gas sector. Major regional and global energy companies will be key international partners of the forum.
The OGT 2026 business program will cover the development of the Galkynysh gas field, implementation of the TAPI project, prospects for developing resources in Turkmenistan’s Caspian sector, gas processing and petrochemicals, investment, digitalization and the introduction of modern environmental technologies. B2B and B2G meetings between foreign companies and officials and specialists from Turkmenistan’s oil and gas sector are also planned as part of the forum.
Leading international and industry media, including Euronews, Energy Intelligence and Petroleum Economist, will cover the conference. Registration for forum delegates is ongoing.
