Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has invited Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to attend the COP31 Leaders’ Summit, which will be held Nov. 11-12, 2026, in Antalya, according to Erdogan’s birthday congratulatory letter to Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Turkmenistan’s official media reported.
In the letter, the Turkish President congratulated Turkmen President on behalf of the people of the Republic of Türkiye and on his own behalf, wishing him good health, well-being and a long life.
Erdogan noted that relations between the two countries, based on their common language, culture, religion and historical roots, have been steadily developing at both bilateral and multilateral levels, including within the Organization of Turkic States.
At the end of the letter, Erdogan wished the Turkmen President and his family good health and happiness, and the Turkmen people well-being and prosperity.
In addition, Serdar Berdimuhamedov received congratulatory letters from Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan and Governor of St. Petersburg, Russia Alexander Beglov,
