The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan recorded deals worth a total of 533 million 356 thousand manats and $2 million 821 thousand 302 in last week, the exchange reported.
Business representatives from the United Arab Emirates purchased thick licorice root extract from the Ministry of Health and Pharmaceutical Industry of Turkmenistan, while Turkish businesses purchased cotton yarn from local businesses.
Business representatives from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan also purchased polypropylene of the TPP Z 30 G grade, heated petroleum coke, SN-180 and SN-600 base oils, and first-grade refined cottonseed oil.
In addition, local entrepreneurs purchased technical iodine of the “A” grade, polypropylene of the TPP D 30 S grade, first-grade wheat flour from the Türkmengallaönümleri State Association and cotton fabric for the domestic market.
A total of 19 deals were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
