World leaders sent congratulatory letters to Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the 35th anniversary of the country’s Independence, Turkmenistan’s official media reported Sunday.
Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands sent congratulatory letters to the Turkmen President on the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence.
King Charles III of the United Kingdom, together with his family, Malaysia’s Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim, Emperor of Japan, Naruhito, Italian President Sergio Mattarella, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan and King Felipe VI of Spain also congratulated the Turkmen President on Independence Day.
In their congratulatory letters to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the leaders wished the Turkmen President good health, family well-being and great success in his responsible state duties, and the fraternal people of Turkmenistan peace, prosperity and sustainable development.
The 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence is being widely celebrated in the capital, Ashgabat, as well as across all regions of the country.
