Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Attends Opening of New Treatment Center at Archman

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, attended the opening ceremony of a new treatment center complex at the Archman health resort on Oct. 9, TTurkmen state media reported.

Archman is one of Turkmenistan’s main health resorts, serving visitors seeking treatment and rest. The resort uses the therapeutic properties of its mineral water in its treatment procedures.

Extensive modernization work at the resort began through the efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen People. In 2009, a new 400-bed building was constructed, a water supply line was laid from a source 7 kilometers away, and landscaping work was carried out. A Saglyk yoly was also built on the resort grounds, allowing visitors to combine treatment with the resort’s mineral water and various sports activities.

According to the report, modern health resorts in Turkmenistan are equipped and provide services that meet high international standards.
