Turkmenistan will participate with a national pavilion in the China International Import Expo (CIIE), scheduled to take place in Shanghai, China, in November, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nokerguly Atagulyyev reported on preparations for the event at a Cabinet meeting held via digital system on Saturday, according to Turkmen state media.
The national pavilion will showcase a wide range of goods produced in Turkmenistan and supplied for export, opportunities for trade, economic and investment cooperation, and the national cultural heritage of the Turkmen people.
A Turkmenistan-China business forum is also planned on the sidelines of the expo. The Deputy Chairman submitted the proposal to the President for consideration.
After hearing the report, Head of the state emphasized the importance of the country’s participation in international exhibitions to promote national products in foreign markets. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed Atagulyyev to ensure Turkmenistan’s participation in the China International Import Expo is organized to a high standard.
