Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Ahmet Çalık, Chairman of the board of the Turkish business group Çalık Holding, on Oct. 30 during his working visit to the Republic of Türkiye, Turkmen state media reported.
During the meeting, Çalık highlighted the importance of Serdar Berdimuhamedov’s visit to Türkiye and thanked Turkmenistan’s leadership for creating favorable conditions for Turkish companies operating in the country. He also assured the Turkmen President that Çalık Holding would continue to fulfill its contractual obligations responsibly.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the steady strengthening of Turkmen-Turkish relations and the development of bilateral cooperation in several areas. Turkmen President emphasized that Turkmenistan builds its foreign economic relations with partner countries on the principles of equality, mutual understanding and mutual respect.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the President wished Çalık success in his work.
