The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and The Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT) are jointly organizing a four-day workshop on designed to help transport and logistics companies operating in Central Asian countries. The workshop is organized for June 10-14 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Participants of the workshop include 25 trainers from five Central Asian countries, including representatives of Turkmen Logistics Association and Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan OJSC. Both are the members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
The workshop addresses the importance of sustainable collaboration with logistics centers, universities and educational institutions to further train specialists and instructors in transportation and logistics disciplines, and provides a platform for Central Asian specialists to share experience and knowledge about the sector.
During the workshop, the specialists will expand their knowledge about the key aspects of transportation and logistics, and ways to apply them in practice to increase logistics potential of the region.
The training course is conducted as part of the initiative implemented by CILT within the USAID project on competitiveness, trade and job creation in Central Asia.
