A delegation of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan led by National Security Adviser Hamdulla Mohib made a working visit to Turkmenistan on June 22.
During the visit, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Strengthening and development of friendly fraternal relations with Afghanistan are the main directions of Turkmenistan’s foreign policy.
The members of the Afghan delegation expressed their unlimited appreciation to the President of Turkmenistan for putting forward international initiatives to resolve the state of the neighboring country in a peaceful way, as well as for the efforts to restore the state socially and economically.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of issues related to the implementation of the construction of the gas pipeline project Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India, as well as power transmission systems and fiber-optic communications along the route Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan.
