Turkmen Delegation Attends Energy Efficiency Workshop in Paris
The two-day workshop was organized by the International Energy Agency and the European Union through the EU4Energy Program.

Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan, as well as the State Concern Turkmengaz and Turkmenneft take part in a seminar on Energy Efficiency in Industry and Long-term Energy Planning held in Paris.

The two-day workshop was organized by the International Energy Agency and the European Union through the EU4Energy Program. Experts in the field of energy efficiency and long-term planning share best practices in with representatives of the CIS countries.

​EU4Energy is a new energy programme funded by th​​​e European Union and foc​​used on the countries of the Eastern Partnership (EaP) and Central Asia: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekista​n.​

EU4Energy’s aim is to improve energy data capabilities and enhance data collection and monitoring of the 11 beneficiary countries.

The program started on 1 July 2016 and will run until 30 June 2020.
