Turkmen Poultry Farm to Produce 14 Million Chickens Per Year
Only in July alone, the company intends to receive 5 batches of 100 thousand hatching chickens.

Nurly Meydan, a private farm located in the Bereket etrap of Balkan velayat, received 100 thousand chickens from incubator on July 4, marking the launch of the first industrial project designed for the mass production of broiler chicken meat and eggs in Turkmenistan.

The hatchery of the chicken farm is equipped with innovative equipment and technologies of the Peterstime and ROXELL, Belgian companies specialized in industrial poultry farming.

Under the supervision of specialists of the Peterstime and ROXELL, Nurly Meydan obtained the first batch of ROSS-308 breed chickens to use in its farm. Only in July alone, the company intends to receive 5 batches of 100 thousand hatched chickens. Orders from other poultry farms will be accepted at the same time.

In total, Nurly Meydan expects to receive 14 million chickens annually, including 12 million for the production of broiler chickens and 2 million for laying hens. Moreover, in addition to hatching eggs intended for the parent stock, the farm will be produce 20 million table eggs for the food sector of the country.

The manufacturer aims to both saturate the domestic market and export chicken meat, eggs and day-old chickens abroad. The companies from Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and China have already shown interest in the products of the farm.

According to the results of audits conducted by the leading international certification body SGS (Switzerland) in early 2019, the Nurly Meydan food safety and product quality management system was confirmed to comply with the requirements of two international standards: ISO 22000 and ISO 9001.
