The Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) hosted the delegation of the National Institute of Agricultural Technologies of Argentina (INTA) headed by its President Juan Balbin and introduced the guest with the activities of the UIET.
In the course of the meeting, the parties outlined expanding trade and economic ties between Turkmenistan and Argentine by taking into account the export potential of Turkmenistan and Argentina’s extensive experience in agriculture, animal husbandry and energy.
The participants expressed interest in cooperation in selection of grain and vegetable crops, food safety and biotechnology, and exchange of experience in the implementation of innovative technologies.
In this regard, the sides stressed that it would be productive to organize regular business forums and meetings between the business circles of the two countries.
INTA is an Argentine federal extension agency in charge of the generation, adaptation and diffusion of technologies, knowledge and learning procedures for the agriculture, forest and agro-industrial activities within an ecologically clean environment. It was established in 1956.
