President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Order to organize the travel of 160 pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from August 5 to August 25 to perform the Hajj, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
The document prescribed the Ministry of Industry and Communication of Turkmenistan, at the expense of the Turkmenistan Airlines agency, to dispatch a special flight of the Boeing 737-800 for the pilgrims.
Last year, on the eve of Kurban Bayram (Festival of the Sacrifice), 153 pilgrims from all regions of the country performed a hajj to the Kaaba along with millions of pilgrims from all over the world, staying in Mecca and Medina.
