Turkmenistan premiere of acclaimed filmmaker Quentin Tarantino’s 9th movie, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, is to take place in Berkarar Shopping and entertainment center’s Cinema on August 8. Initially, it will be screened three times daily, with 50 manats charged for a ticket.
The film is set in 1969 Los Angeles where a fictional aging television actor and his stunt double and longtime friend navigate the changing Hollywood film industry, and it stars an ensemble cast including Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie. Two times Oscar winner for best Original Screenplay, Quentin Tarantino, chose to write the screenplay for his 9th movie himself.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on May 21. It was released theatrically in the United States on July 26, 2019. This film became Tarantino’s largest opening, with grossing $81 million in 11 days. Its production budget is $95 million.
Turkmenistan and Russia share a same premiere date for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The theatrical release of the film in most parts of Europe will begin in August 15-16, while its Turkish premiere is scheduled for August 23.
