Manufacturers of equipment used in the textile industry of Turkmenistan also participated in the Caspian Exhibition of Innovative Technologies held at the Turkmenbashi International Seaport on August 11-12.
One of the participants of the event was the Swiss company Rieter, which produces cotton yarn and weaving equipment. The company cooperates with Turkmen entrepreneurs along with the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan.
In an interview with Business Turkmenistan, Pierre Kübler, Rieter's sales specialist, said the development of the textile industry of Turkmenistan contributes to the world-wide increase in the company's technology.
"We have quite a lot of spinning mills in Turkmenistan. We have a good reputation in the country. We also have a good cooperation with the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan," Kübler said.
Rieter develops and manufactures machinery, systems and components used to convert natural and manmade fibers and their blends into yarns. It is the only supplier worldwide to cover spinning preparation processes as well as all four end spinning processes currently established on the market.
According to Pierre Kübler, his company also provides the latest technologies to the private companies in Turkmenistan, such as Batly Gadam individual enterprise located in the city of Balkanabat. Founded in 2018, Batly Gadam produces 50 thousand pairs of socks per day.
"This exhibition is important for showing that textile industry of Turkmenistan is part of its economy. I think textile really has a big potential here," Kübler said.
Caspian Exhibition of Innovative Technologies was designed to demonstrate the economic achievements and potential of the Caspian countries and their partners. More than 120 foreign and domestic companies were represented in the event.
