Turkish aluminum producer Şimşek Inc. works towards opening its branch in Turkmenistan, Fatih Topal, Export Director of the company told Business Turkmenistan on Friday.

The company took part in the “Türkmengurluşyk - 2019" International Exhibition in Ashgabat.

Topal said the company's team in the exhibition plans to meet with representatives of several state organizations this week, and stressed that Şimşek Inc. intends to open its branch in Turkmenistan.

“We are currently conducting relevant analysis on this, based on the results of which we will implement an investment project in Turkmenistan,” Topal said.

“The construction industry in Turkmenistan is booming rapidly, it surprises us every time with new buildings and projects. One of them is Ashgabat City. We want to enhance cooperation with the country,” he added.

Simşek Inc. participated in the exhibition of construction materials in Turkmenistan for the first time in 2014. The company has supplied its products for the construction of the Olympic village in Ashgabat.

“The construction of the Olympic town was in full swing when we participated in the exhibition in Turkmenistan for the first time. Back then, we supplied the ongoing construction of the Olympic stadium with 15 trailers of fire-resistant aluminum products,” Topal said.

Şimşek Inc.'s manufacturing plant is located in Diyarbekir, Turkey. For the past 11 years, the company has specialized in the production of aluminum products. It is the only certified manufacturer of the A2 fire-resistant aluminum panels in Turkey.
