Turkmenistan Interested in Business Cooperation With Israel

Members of Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) held a meeting with the Ambassador of the State of Israel to Turkmenistan Moshe Kamkhi, UIET reported on its official website.

During the meeting at the UIET headquarters in Ashgabat, Alexander Dadaev, chairman of the organization, briefed the ambassador on activities and programs of the Union. He further informed the guest about the state support provided for the development of entrepreneurship in Turkmenistan.

Turkmen entrepreneurs highlighted a number of promising projects with their participation that require innovative approaches, including the construction of the new administrative center of the Ahal velayat and Ashgabat city.

UIET Chairman noted that there is potential for establishing business cooperation in the development of the chemical industry and implementing projects to develop the country's natural resources. Dadaev added that UIET is interested in using the long term experience of Israeli companies in the implementation of IT, creating joint ventures and attracting investors.

The envoy, in turn, highlighted the stability of the Turkmen economy, as well as its attractive investment climate, and spoke in favor of expanding contacts between businessmen of the two countries, whom he, as the Ambassador of Israel, intends to promote.

During the exchange of views, the sides pointed out the cooperation in agriculture, the supply of equipment for drip irrigation systems and the introduction of innovative technologies, as the promising areas of collaboration.

Stressing the importance of organizing meetings between businessmen of the two countries, the sides agreed to hold one of them at the UEIT headquarters.
