Turkmenabat Chemical Plant Increases Production
The enterprises production rate showed 46,1% increase in comparison to the same period of last year.

Chemical plant named after S.A.Nyýazow produced 49,2 million manats worth of goods in the 7 months of this year, thus exceeding the planned production by 4,6%. The enterprises production rate showed 46,1% increase in comparison to the same period of last year.

The plant, which is located in the city of Turkmenabat, is the subsidiary of the Türkmenhimiýa state concern and produces about 30 different varieties of chemical products. The plant recently commissioned the production of various types of shoe oil and shoe cream. In the past seven months, the enterprise supplied the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan with more than 3 million tons of shoe cream.

In the first 7 months of this year, S.A.Nyýazow chemical enterprise supplied the local market with 151,3 mln tons of phosphate fertilizers. The plant recycles the waste produced as a result of production process to manufacture more fertilizers. The chemical plant also produced 530 tons of Oksigumat, the product that activates plant growth and increases crop yields.

In addition to its main production, the phosphate fertilizer, the plant also produces sulfuric acid. The enterprise produce 51,1 thousand tons of it in the past 7 months.
