Trade Turnover Between Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan Amounts to $6,5 Million

Over the first seven months of this year, the mutual trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan amounted to $6,48 million, head of the Trade and Services Department of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan Dovran Orazmyradov announced at Kyrgyz-Turkmen business forum in Bishkek on Monday.

“Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan cooperate on promising areas of cooperation in the fields of trade, tourism, transport, logistics, and agriculture,” Orazmyradov said during the forum. “Turkmenistan exported goods to Kyrgyzstan in the amounted of $2,8 million, and imported $3,43 million worth of products. Entrepreneurs mainly cooperated in the field of trade.”

According to Orazmyradov, Turkmenistan supplies Kyrgyzstan with fresh tomatoes, bakery and flour products, beddings, pipes and hoses, sinks, and toilets.

Turkmenistan imported lamps, films, plastic tapes, and machinery for the manufacture of textile yarn from Kyrgyzstan.
