The complex of buildings of the Türkmen Alabaý Itleri private enterprise opened in the Ak Bugday etrap of Ahal velayat on Wednesday.
Hyakim (Governor) of Ahal velayat Serdar Berdimuhamedov attended the inauguration ceremony of the complex designed for the genetic selection and breeding of Alabay dogs. “The opening of the new facility shows how much attention is paid to the Turkmen Alabay in our country. This is an additional prime example of the importance attached to their breeding and proper training, preservation and development of their best, outstanding purebred qualities, and of course the further popularization of our national heritage in the world,” said Hyakim during the inauguration ceremony of the complex.
The head of the velayat gifted a new book of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “Turkmen Alabay” to the participants of the ceremony.
Bary private enterprise, which is a general contractor, jointly with the subcontractors erected the complex that includes a kennel designed to breed 40 adult dogs and 30 puppies. The complex consists of an administrative building, a staff building, a checkpoint and a place for the staff to rest. The laboratory of the new center is equipped with the necessary modern equipment.
The complex also includes utility rooms for feeding and bathing dogs, refrigeration, utility and storage rooms, 5 veterinary service buildings, an indoor arena for walking and training dogs, and a special platform with spectator stands for holding special events.
