In the quotes section of the website, which is updated daily, users can get info on products for sale on the exchange, including construction, engineering, petrochemical, agricultural and light industry products in three languages.

Business Turkmenistan for the first time digitized and published the goods for sale on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) on its website.

In the quotes section of the website, which is updated daily, users can get info on products for sale on the exchange, including construction, engineering, petrochemical, agricultural and light industry products in three languages.

Parties wishing to participate in the SCRMET tenders can search for the necessary information in digital format by product type, unit of measure, payment terms, delivery conditions, location, country of manufacture, selling broker, type of intended market, and currency.

Transactions on the SCRMET are concluded on a weekly basis. The main feature of the digital publication is the storage and access to quotes of the previous five days. The potential buyer can also view the goods for sale within a week and track them without leaving the page.

The digital system started its operation on September 16 taking into account the Concept of Development of Digital economy in Turkmenistan for 2019-2025, approved by the President of Turkmenistan in November last year. The new digital systen makes it easier for local customers and foreign buyers to purchase SCRMET goods.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, founded by the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan on July 29, 1994, is the major economic institute of the country, carrying out function of a principal body of state regulation of export-import transactions.
