Turkmenistan Names New Consul General to UAE
The President had signed the decree to open Consulate General in the United Arab Emirates Emirates (Dubai) on August 30.

The President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov appointed Yhlasgeldi Amanov as the General Consul of Turkmenistan in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai).

The Head of the State signed the corresponding decree on September 28. The President had signed the decree to open Consulate General in the United Arab Emirates Emirates (Dubai) on August 30.

In honor of the Independence Day of Turkmenistan, Turkmen flag was projected on the tallest building in the world - Burj Khalifa, located in Dubai, on September 27. 828 m building was painted in Turkmen ornaments and moon crescent with five stars.

The building named in honor of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the ruler of Abu Dhabi and president of the United Arab Emirates, was inaugurated in January 4, 2010. Turkmen Leader was among the first foreign leaders to visit the building. Burj Khalifa has been the tallest structure and building in the world since its topping out in 2009.
