The heads of government of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) held a meeting at the Skolkovo technopark in Moscow on October 25. The CIS heads of government met in private before being joined by their delegations for an expanded gathering.
High-level delegations of the CIS member states along with the Chairman of the Executive Committee and Executive Secretary of the CIS Sergey Lebedev gathered in Moscow to participate in the meeting.
During the meeting in a narrow format, the heads of government exchanged views on issues of economic cooperation in the CIS, and agreed on the date of the next meeting of the Council of Heads of Government.
They also discussed the implementation of previously reached agreements.
The next session of the CIS Heads of Government Council will take place in Tashkent on 29 May 2020 under Uzbekistan's chairmanship.
The previous such meeting was held on May 31 in Ashgabat.
