EBRD Continues Active Cooperation With UIET
Fatih Turkmenoglu expressed satisfaction in the EBRD's cooperation with representatives of the non-governmental sector of the Turkmen economy.

The Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) Alexander Dadayev received the new head of the representative office of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Turkmenistan (EBRD) Fatih Turkmenoglu on October 25.

According to the UIET press release, the guest was acquainted with the achievements of the Turkmen business community over 11 years and with the promising projects of the entrepreneurs, including in new areas for them - tourism, digital technology, and the fishing industry.

Particular emphasis was placed on large projects, to the implementation of which UIET intends to attract foreign investors, and to the role of banks in the process. In this regard, the productivity of business meetings held recently in Japan and the upcoming November 6 Turkmen-Italian business forum, was noted.

Fatih Turkmenoglu expressed satisfaction in the EBRD's cooperation with representatives of the non-governmental sector of the Turkmen economy, which resulted in the financing of a number of projects of the UIET members in various areas of small and medium sized businesses. He also stressed that the EBRD will continue to work actively with the Turkmen private sector to promote business development through financial and advisory services.

The head of the International Department of the UIET and a representative of Rysgal JSCB also attended the meeting.
