Turkmen-Italian business forum takes place in Milan on Wednesday prior to the official visit of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the Italian Republic.
Business circles of the two countries focus on cooperation in areas such as oil and gas, chemical industry, textiles and leather, agriculture, and construction.
The delegation of Turkmenistan includes administration and representatives of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, several dozen members of this organization that are representing various sectors of the economy. Many of them already have experience in business contacts with Italian partners.
During the meeting, the parties examined opportunities for diversification of commercial and industrial cooperation, implementation of joint investment projects in various fields.
Within the framework of the forum, Various enterprises of the countries will hold bilateral negotiations, which will make it possible to specify the priorities of an effective partnership and determine ways to realize its potential.
Following the results of the business forum, a package of documents will be inked.
The previous business forum took place in Ashgabat in November last year.
