John Deere will supply Turkmenistan with 600 model 9970 cotton harvesters, the company said in a Wednesday press release.
According to the document, Turkmenistan has already received 300 combines this year, and another 300 will be delivered to the country in 2020.
Nikolai Orlenko, territorial manager of John Deere, noted his satisfaction with the increase of modern cotton harvesters in the agricultural sector of Turkmenistan. “We consider our cooperation with Turkmenistan to be very promising and hope that it will only develop in the future,” Orlenko added.
John Deere has been supplying agricultural machinery to Turkmenistan for over 25 years. This deal is the largest in terms of cotton picking equipment.
