John Deere to Deliver 600 Cotton Harvesters to Turkmenistan
John Deere has been supplying agricultural machinery to Turkmenistan for over 25 years.

John Deere will supply Turkmenistan with 600 model 9970 cotton harvesters, the company said in a Wednesday press release.

According to the document, Turkmenistan has already received 300 combines this year, and another 300 will be delivered to the country in 2020.

Nikolai Orlenko, territorial manager of John Deere, noted his satisfaction with the increase of modern cotton harvesters in the agricultural sector of Turkmenistan. “We consider our cooperation with Turkmenistan to be very promising and hope that it will only develop in the future,” Orlenko added.

John Deere has been supplying agricultural machinery to Turkmenistan for over 25 years. This deal is the largest in terms of cotton picking equipment.

John Deere supplied 400 units of similar harvesting equipment to Turkmenistan in 2017 - 2018. Thanks to the new agreement, the total number of 9970 cotton harvesters operating in the cotton fields of Turkmenistan will exceed a thousand units by 2020.
