Turkmenistan will provide humanitarian assistance to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan by donating a transformer along with related equipment.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the relevant decree on Monday. According to the document, based on the friendly and good neighborly relations between Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the device is delivered in order to provide humanitarian assistance to a neighboring country.
The Head of State assigned Ministry of Energy to hand over 220/110/10 KW 125 MVA transformer with relative equipment to Afghanistan for free as a humanitarian aid.
Turkmen Leader signed a decree in July, according to which a number of ministries and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan are required to donate products to Afghanistan as humanitarian aid.
Turkmenistan also delivered 60 tons of ECO-93 gasoline produced at a gas-to-gasoline (GTG) plant in Ahal velayat to the neighboring country as a humanitarian aid in June this year.
