The French company VINCI SA will construct the Nusaý Hotel in Ashgabat. The hotel will be located next to the Nisa State Historical and Cultural Reserve.
During a working trip to Ashgabat on Tuesday, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov examined the proposed VINCI projects for the new Nusaý hotel.
Turkmen Leader thoroughly studied the project and gave a number of recommendations and suggestions to its authors for the design and arrangement of the hotel. The President emphasized that the new hotel complex should harmoniously fit into the local natural landscape, becoming its integral component.
The Turkmen Leader also received on Tuesday Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of VINCI group of companies Yves-Thibault de Silguy. During the talks, the parties discussed the course of cooperation and new projects.
Phase 2 of the Nusaý Hotel, located in the center of Ashgabat, is currently under construction. The new five-story hotel building, constructed by the Turkish company Rönesans along Turkmenbashi Avenue, will accommodate 131 rooms and will offer guests standard, luxury and VIP suits.
During a government video conference session on September 9 of this year, the Head of State instructed the Hyakim (Mayor) of Ashgabat Shamuhammet Durdylyyev to rename the Nusaý hotel located in the city center and to prepare proposals for a new name.
The new hotel, which will be built in honor of the Nisa-the capital of the great Parthian State, will feature advanced achievements of architectural and engineering ideas, the best traditions of national architecture, and the architectural art of the ancient Parthian kingdom.
