Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan held a meeting on Friday between Turkmen entrepreneurs and representatives of German companies. In an interview with the Business Turkmenistan, the representative of the Anton Olhert GmbH & Co. Georg Böttinger said that the company has been cooperating with Turkmenistan for 10 years.
Böttinger said his company has been cooperating both with state organizations of Turkmenistan and individual enterprises such as Hasar, Halk Hazyna, and Daýanç Plastic.
The representative of the German company, specializing in the production of confectionery and various plastic containers for food products, added that equipment for the production of confectionery and plastic glasses was delivered to Turkmenistan through the company’s representative offices in Tashkent, Almaty and Cologne.
“Over 10 years of cooperation, we have supplied equipment to Turkmenistan worth nearly 10 million euros,” the German guest said.
The company representative also said that the German company currently carries out negotiations with Täze Aý Individual Enterprise for the supply of dairy production equipment, as well as with ATM IE for the supply of equipment for the production of concrete railway sleepers.
Anton Olhert GmbH & Co. is known for its 140 years of experience in trade with Eurasian and Central Asian states. The company exports equipment for the production of confectionery, plastic and concrete products in the amount of €70-€80 million per year.
