Since the end of last year, Ural Airlines (Russia) has started using the services of the Turkmenabat International Airport.
As part of the contract, Ural Airlines' aircraft are provided with ground handling services and are refueled. Turkmenabat Airport plans to service at least seven Ural Airlines flights a week. This indicator can be increased.
In addition, Turkmenabat airport provides ground handling and refueling of 18-20 flights per month.
Aircrafts of Antonov Airlines, Volga-Dnepr, Ruby Star, Swiss Air Ambulance and Aviatraffic company airlines also make tech-stops at the air harbor located in the northeastern Turkmenistan. The airport also maintains cooperation with Aurora Aviation, Mixjet, Apogee, and Jetex.
The airport plans to start cooperating with Trans Avia Export (Belarus), Azee Air (Kazakhstan), and Global Service Solution (United Arab Emirates) in 2020.
Turkmenabat International Airport, commissioned in February 2018, covers a total area of 600 hectares. The airport includes 3800 meters long and 60 meters wide runway.
