Swiss Company to Cooperate With Turkmenistan on Food Security
Delegation of SICPA SA led by the Chairman of the Board and CEO Philippe Amon arrived in Ashgabat to discuss the prospects of partnership.

Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan and the Swiss company SICPA SA signed on Wednesday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on a strategic partnership.

SICPA SA is a leading company in the field of security inks. It is expected that a strategic partnership with experienced specialists in the field will enable the development and implementation of modern technologies in Turkmenistan.

Given that the Swiss company has developed an innovative solution for tracking various types of food and industrial products, the Ministry of Finance and Economics is interested in cooperating in secure authentication, control of production volumes and monitoring the movement of goods imported and exported by Turkmenistan.

During the negotiations held with a delegation led by the Chairman of the Board and CEO of SICPA SA Philippe Amon, the parties confirmed their readiness for an open and trusting dialogue to provide the market with high-quality and high-tech marking solutions that will protect both buyers and the country's trading network from counterfeit products.

The signed MoU is aimed at promoting the development of the digital economy in Turkmenistan.
