UNDP Assists in Enhancing Trade Potential of Turkmen Businesses
Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan was created in 2008.

Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) hosted a meeting on Thursday with the UN international expert Akim Seiler, who arrived on a working visit to monitor the implementation of the partnership project of the UN Development Program (UNDP) and the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan.

The heads of the international and trade departments of the UIET informed the guest about the activities of the Union, the achievements and further plans of Turkmen entrepreneurs, their active participation in the development of the national economy, including the trade sector.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the issues of building up the trade potential of Turkmen entrepreneurs, their needs for training and advanced training on foreign and domestic trade, and the implementation of measures aimed at ensuring effective access to export products of the UIET members to foreign markets.
