Turkmenistan Expands Cooperation With Swiss Security Printing Company
The meeting focused on enhancing the bilateral cooperation, including on product labeling.

The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan held a video conference meeting on Tuesday between representatives of ministries and departments of Turkmenistan and Swiss company SICPA SA.

The meeting focused on enhancing the bilateral cooperation, including on product labeling, production output control and monitoring the movement of goods imported and exported by Turkmenistan.

The meeting participants noted the relevance of such cooperation due to the constant increase in the production of industrial and agricultural products in the country.

The parties confirmed their readiness to foster the mutually beneficial cooperation and to supply the Turkmen market with advanced product labeling technologies that will protect both buyers and the country's trading network from counterfeit products.

In January this year, a Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Partnership was signed between the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan and SICPA SA, a leading company in the field of security inks.
