Turkmenistan, World Bank Discuss Provision of Advisory Services
The parties exchanged views on perspectives of intensification of relations.

State Bank of Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan held negotiations with the representatives of the World Bank (WB) in a video conference format on Wednesday.

The meeting participants primarily discussed the priorities of cooperation within the framework of the Reimbursable Advisory Services (RAS) Agreement.

The parties exchanged views on plans of cooperation under activities outlined in the agreement and on perspectives of intensification of relations in the context of reform of national economy, particularly in its non-governmental sector.

In this regard, the participants reviewed opportunities of investments and provision of consulting services for private financial institutes, small, medium and large enterprises of Turkmenistan.

The RAS agreement is designed to support business model reform and corporate governance in banking sector, the development of the credit reporting system and strengthening macroeconomic statistics.
