The UAE-based company will provide services to increase gas production at 30 wells at the Dovletabad field in Turkmenistan.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a relevant Resolution last Friday.
According to the Resolution, Türkmengaz State Concern is authorized to conclude a contract with Turkmen Petroleum Products Trade DMCC (United Arab Emirates) for provision of services to increase natural gas production at 30 wells at the Dovletabad field.
The Dovletabad gas field is located in Turkmenistan’s southeastern velayat of Mary. It was established in 1982 with initial gas reserves of 1.3 trillion cubic meters. In the 1990s, this field was the main source of Turkmenistan’s gas exports.
Turkmenistan exports natural gas to China and the Russian Federation.
